Resources for Families

One of the most important ways to help people in need with gaining their independence and vital life skills is the support system surrounding them. At Corey's Place, we aim to give the family, teachers, and people in the surrounding community access to information that will give them the ability to understand people with needs and the tools they may require to be the utmost successful. This is why we provide access to seminars, training, and networks of people who are trained to assist people with needs and prepare them to have success in the outside world.

We have a variety of doctors, nurses, behavior specialists, and people who have had success with independence in the world even with the various needs they may require. We give them the ability to not only explain the requirements they may have to have in their lives but also teach the benefits of having access to those resources.

Lastly, we provide the family, teachers, and community with the opportunity to network with one another to either promote the knowledge they have gained from these seminars but also connect with others on a more personal level so that the community can be more connected. Also, we encourage an open environment where people can come and be a part of something bigger than any ordinary class and have a more developed understanding of the people they are around.
